Frugal Friday: Featuring a last few Christmas sets

Jolliest Time of the Year – #116584, $20.95, pg.42 IBC

A fun sketch based set of images perfect for watercoloring or chalk techniques or just using plain markers.  Also looks cute and retro in black and white or red and white contrast images.  With the lines showing movement you get the idea these guys are shaking and shimmying with joy and jolliness.  Santa even looks like he’s juggling the snow!

Well that ‘s  pretty much it for the Christmas and Fall holiday focus.   Next week we’ll be looking at other aspects of frugal and tightwad stamping that may or may not always focus on price before jumping back into the rest of the Under $20 stamp sets and wheels waiting patiently (or not :D) for their turn in the spotlight.   And before you know it we’ll be looking at the Occasions mini’s list and boy is that going to take awhile.  With the new clear stamp option every set in the book has an Under $20 version available!!  Whoo-hoo more stamps for the same amount of money!!   Including 2 sets that give you 4 stamps for $9.95  Wow!  Such deals it will take till June to get through the whole list!!  And that doesn’t even include the SAB sets that are free!!  Well okay you’ll have to make a purchase to get them for free but hey use those clear set savings dollars and you’ll be home free with boxes and boxes of stamps (pun intended :D).

Take care my friends and if you have a moment keep those in need in prayer.  And if possible pass along the frugal savings to local food banks and energy assistance programs.  As winter settles in despair grows as people struggle to heat and eat to stay alive.   Joy is possible even in the tough times but it takes a bit of energy to find it.   The warmth of others kindness provides some of that energy.
