August Stamp Camp is coming…hope to see you there!

Looking to beat the heat and have some fun at the same time?

Create your very own Work of Art (today’s featured project) as well as three other projects at a fun stamping get together in Central Point, Oregon.

Stamp Camp is coming…August 9th at 10am.    How does that beat the heat I hear you asking…simple…the Church hall where we meet is air conditioned!   Besides…stamping fun always  takes ones mind off what the weather is doing.   And our famous and fun potlucks always add to the fun.   Margaret if you are reading this I hope you are bringing your super delish homemade pickles!

Here’s one of the projects we’ll be making.   You can see a second in this post here.  So many saw these samples in June and asked for them that I just had to add them to the lineup.   As you can see I’m still playing around with Stampin’ Up’s  latest set of In Colors.   I love them so much…and I hope you do to.

Work of Art Blackberry Bliss Flower-Jean Fitch August 2014 Stamp Camp.

Supplies:

Stamps: Work of Art, Petite Petals

Paper: Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss Cardstocks, Champagne Glimmer Paper

Ink: Mossy Meadow & Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink Pads, Versamark, Mossy Meadow Marker

Other: 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, Petite Petal Punch, 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, Envelope Punch Board (corner rounder punch), Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Linen Thread, adhesives.

Keeping it pretty simple here to show once again how versatile Work of Art as a stamp set is.  Quick and simple I think this card took all of 10-15  minutes to make including warming up the heat tool for the gold embossing.  This card really sparkles in person with gold and glimmer paper.   Of course if you want to add a bit more bling you can scatter gold sequins and basic jewel rhinestones as well across the card.   Since I’m focusing this time on an easy to mail mostly one layer type card I decided to pass on too much bling and kept it simple.  Of course I’ll have the bling on hand August 9th if you want to step it up a bit more.

Hope to see you August 9th.  If you need more information or directions please email me at jlfstudio@live.com

Linda and Cheryl (my fellow Stampin’ Up demonstrator partners) will each have a project to present as well.   Cost is $15 for the 4 projects and we should be done by 2pm (includes the break for a potluck lunch on site).

Of course if you live out of the area I’d be happy to send you the step by step directions with a few tips for using this fun new set when you place an order before July 31st.

I  have an open Hostess Code for orders that will be closing July 31st.   To place an order go to the Stampin’ Up Online Store (calls and emails to me directly with the needed order information will also work) and select me as your demonstrator.

Insert the hostess code:   2FGT2VV4

And then add the rest of your order.

Of course if your order is more than the $150 for hostess benefits you are welcome to ignore the hostess code so you can scoop the hostess rewards.   If your order is less than the benefit level I’ll put you in the drawing for all or a portion of the hostess rewards ordered if the total orders combined reach that level.   If there are less than 3 orders I generally split the benefits and order fun things like ribbon, candy dots and so on that can be easily shared.  If there are more than 3 then I do a drawing for the lot and notify the winner.  Of course to participate you have to order right?    Please consider doing so as it will help me remain a demonstrator and able to serve your creative needs.    Summer has found my order levels dropping this quarter and SU is reminding me that to stay a demonstrator I have to up my game before August 1.

Hugs and love and hoping to see you in Central Point….
